Thomas Lee Greene, Jr.

On August 27th, 2021, Thomas, the loving husband, father, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend, transitioned to his eternal home. Born June 7th, 1954, in Chattanooga, TN, to Thomas Sr. and Georgella Greene, second of their six children. Thomas was a proud graduate of the class of 1972 from Riverside High School. After 25 years of working from U.T.C., Thomas retired from the Telecommunications Department.

Thomas was an all-around great guy. Never to have met a stranger, always the life of the party with his charismatic and outgoing personality; his hilarious sense of humor could always put a smile on any face. Thomas enjoyed cooking and entertaining his family and friends in his pastime as he was a master on the grill, also listening to music and watching movies (especially westerns).

Preceded in death by his grandson, Kaiden Colquit, parents, Thomas Sr and Georgella Greene, parents-in-law John and Bertha Baskins, brother-in-law Aaron Ross, Sr., sisters-in-law Linda Baskin and Hazel Cunningham, and great-nephew Thomas Ruffin, III.

Thomas leaves to cherish his memories, his loyal wife Rose Greene, devoted children, Tameka Greene, LaKenya Greene, Timmy Colquit, and Thomas Greene, III, adoring grandchildren, Janiece Greene, Tareeyah Colquit, Lauren Simmons, and Paisley Colquit, his loving siblings, Sheila Ross, George (Bonnie) Greene, Larry (Gwen) Greene, Jerry Greene, John (Shirley) Greene and nieces and nephews, in-laws, cousins, and friends.
